Emergency! Emergency!

The alarms echoed throughout the HQ as the Sligs and TV Bombs pretty much destroyed everything on sight. In the middle of the commotion, the figure of the red haired boy scurried through the halls swiftly, avoiding at all cost being caught by the attackers.

“Young Rex!” called him an elderly green haired man from afar.

“Alfred!” replied boy relieved and he quickly ran to where he was.

“Quickly! You must escape” he told him before an explosion occurred not too far from them.

“Bu-but what about you and Cuz!” stuttered the boy worried.

“We’ll be fine, now listen carefully” and he leaned closer to Rex’s ear. “Cuz already opened the access to the training grounds. There, you will find a TV that leads to the outside. Use it to find Gex and bring him here”.

At that moment, another explosion occurred. But this time, it was accompanied by the loud sounds of the Sligs and TV Bombs approaching the two.

“Now, go!” cried Alfred as he pushed Rex towards the corridor leading to the training grounds.

“O-Ok!” stuttered the shaky boy and he dashed deeper into the HQ, while the menacing half mechanical monsters easily captured Alfred; just like they did with Cuz.

Deep inside the training grounds, the red haired boy hastily looked around for that TV that Alfred told him to use, not noticing that, above him, the responsible of this treacherous attack were watching.

“There he is” said Molluck pleased as he looked the nervous Rex, “the little assistant of your enemy”.

“Grrrr, I still don’t get why we can’t capture him like the rest” growled Rez angry, displeased that he was just there to watch from afar.

“I don’t understand either, but surely N. Tropy has his reasons as to why he wants that we lead him to them” replied the old man as he took a small device from his clothes.

Down on the first floor, Rex managed to find the TV. But for some reason it wasn’t working, and the Sligs and Heli Tellies were about to burst into the room.

“Come on-come on-come on!” muttered the nervous boy as he tried to fix his means of escaping, without imagining that Molluck and Rez already sabotaged it before he got there. Slowly, the malicious old man raised the device to his face’s level and pushed the button.

Suddenly, a second device, carefully hidden behind the TV, activated; creating a big electric blue orb that sucked both the electronic device and Rex.

“Woaaaaah!” cried the red haired boy as he was being sucked away.

“Woah!” continued his crying even after waking up.

“Wah!” yelped Parappa scared as he fell backwards. Spyro, however, didn’t flinch at all by the red haired boy’s cry.

“Good, you’re awake” stated Spyro calmed.

“Whe-where am I?” panted Rex still worried.

By the looks of it, he was in a small frozen cave with a small bonfire right next to him; probably those two placed him as close as possible to the fire’s heat in order to warm him up.

“Where you are?” asked the young dragon perplexed. “In the island of course, are you not familiar with your home?” he wondered since he didn’t quite understand how could someone forget about his birthplace.

“I-island?” repeated Rex confused while Parappa sat again on the log where he previously was.

“You’re ok? Ya’ looked like…kinda dead” stated the young rapper a little worried for the boy.

“What?!” exclaimed Rex scared as he checked his body to see if he was still a full being of bone and flesh.

A lot of explanation was surely to come. However, and while they were having their own issues, others were dealing with more important problems.

Inside the frozen round shaped chamber that was meant to lead our heroes back to the second warp room, we see Fake Crash examining the big platform in the center of the room; surely that was how his impostor and friends were moving from one side to the other.

So far, he couldn’t find any hint that could tell him how they activate that teleportation system, and that was starting to get in his nerves.

“You!” he exclaimed angry as he grabbed and lifted Rayman by the collar of his purple sweater.

“How does this thing work?!” questioned him Fake Crash with deadly eyes that stared the blond’s glaring blue ones.

“Like I told you before: I don’t know” he retorted him angry. Not only he couldn’t defend himself because of the tight ropes around his arms and wrists, but he was also worried of what could happen to his little rabbid as long as it was in the hands of Crash’s evil twin.

After staring intently for mere seconds, Fake Crash decided that it was not worthy to keep asking; he could be lying, true. But at the same time he felt that the blond was stating the obvious, and that probably someone else was behind in how they moved from one side of the island to another.

“Fine!” he replied as he tossed Rayman from his sight. “Not like I needed you in the first place”

“Rayman!” cried Croc worried the moment he saw his friend falling roughly on the ice. Just like the blond, he couldn’t do much since his upper limbs were also tied up tightly.

“Haha! Ya’ got what ya’ deserved” laughed Dark Parappa mockingly while pointing the achy blond on the floor.

“Maybe there’s a hidden switch in the walls” wondered Fake Crash as he examined one carefully.

“Did ya’ look under that thing?” asked Parappa’s evil clone as he walked towards the platform, leaving carelessly the two unsupervised.

“Are you ok?” asked the green haired boy concerned as he leaned closer to Rayman.

“Ye-yeah…” muttered the blond achy as he looked at the captors discussing among themselves while examining the room.

“Ok Croc, let’s use this time to our advantage. Think you can untie the ropes on my wrists with your teeth?” he asked him a little worried about his request. However, so far there weren’t many choices he could think of, and who knew when the two were going to get distracted so easily again like this.

“I-I’ll try!” nodded the boy determined and quickly went towards the ropes on Rayman’s wrists, biting and pulling them as hard as he could.

At that moment, outside, a wandering Aku Aku coincidentally spotted the entrance to the curious round shaped room.

“Hmmmm?” he muttered confused. “Since when did that thing was there?”

“Almost there” whispered Rayman as he felt his hands coming from the now loosened ropes.

“If I had searched there, don’t you think that…what do you think you’re doing, you fool!” yelled Fake Crash desperately after he stopped examining the wall.

“Don’t let those two out of your sight!” he added angrily.

“Too late!” cried Rayman victorious as he used his electric chains to hit Dark Parappa, knocking him down successfully.

“Tsk” hissed Fake Crash angry as he saw Rayman and Croc unrestrained and ready to face him. But still, he had one ace up his sleeve.

“You guys don’t know when to quit, do you?” he asked them smugly as he showed the two the power crystal, forcing the heroes to fall back a little.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you!” exclaimed Fake Crash evilly as he prepared to break the crystal. However, and for some odd reason, his fist didn’t make contact with it; it kind looked like he was being paralyzed by some magic.

“You will not do as you please” stated a new voice in the room that belonged to no other than Crash’s wise mentor.

“Aku Aku!” stated Croc relieved to see him.

“Damn…” muttered Fake Crash displeased, obviously this was a defeat for him; he just couldn’t compete against powerful magical beings like that obnoxious flying mask.

And just like he predicted, while being paralyzed, Aku Aku used his powers to take both the crystal and Rayman’s rabbid from his hands to return them to his allies.

“The crystal!” exclaimed Croc happily once the crystal fell into his hands. Seconds later, the bag fell into Rayman’s hands, who quickly opened it in order to free his little pet from its prison.

“Haha! Yeah-yeah, I’m glad to see you too” laughed the blond since the rabbid was kissing him repeatedly.

“Now, what shall we do with these two?” asked Aku Aku as he glared at the restrained clones.

“I got an idea…” said Rayman a little maliciously as he looked at Fake Crash sweatdropping; something about this wasn’t going to end well for him.

Minutes later, we see the blond securing the ropes that tie the evil counterparts back to back.

“You just wait” threatened him Fake Crash angry as he watched Rayman tightening the ropes. “When I get out of this, you and that faker are going to pay”.

“Oh yeah?” he asked sarcastically before finishing securing the two. “Then we’ll stop you again” and with that he, Croc and Aku Aku went up to the platform and then disappeared in front of the mad evil bandicoot.

Meanwhile, deep inside the sewer, the mysterious aviator youth was still wandering around relaxed; almost like we was sightseeing around.

“There he is!” exclaimed a voice from behind, calling the young boy’s attention.

“Ops, busted!” he stated cheerfully as he jumped to a pipe connected to the ceiling in order to be away from his pursuer’s reach, who was Klonoa.

“Klonoa, stop!” called him Crash as he stood in front of his friend, then he turned around to see the purple aviator above them.

“It’s ok, we’re not going to hurt you” said the male bandicoot in order to ease the young man, who was now staring at him intently while smirking.

“My name is Crash and he is Klonoa” he introduced himself and his friend cordially. “We just want to know if you’re not from this world and about that dark event you told Klonoa minutes ago” he stated, hoping that the aviator could cooperate with them.

Surprised by the fact that Crash hit the mark with his request, the youth couldn’t help but to get serious about it. This sudden change of personality was clearly noticed by the two heroes, who thought that maybe this guy wasn’t bad news afterall.

“What do you say?” asked Crash smiling, expecting to hear the aviator’s reply.

“H-hey…” he stuttered as he raised his shaky hand in order to point Klonoa with his index finger.

“Does your friend got vaccinated against rabies?” he asked Crash nonchalantly.

“THAT’S IT!” exclaimed the black haired boy comically angry with his wind ring in hand. This time that guy just asked for it.

“Klo-Klonoa! Please stop!” said Crash as he grabbed his friend by his armpits. Once the struggle between the two started, the youth took advantage of it to sneak in front of them.

“Nnhghgh! Let go of me Crash! I’m going to pound that guy for real this time!” retorted him angry while struggling.

“But what if you do that and then he decides not to tell us anything!” pleaded Crash worried as he hold Klonoa strongly.

“Oh, don’t worry! I’m going to make sure he spits everything with the help of my wind hammer!” he added madly.

“Hey, lovebirds!” called him the aviator youth from behind. Suddenly the two stopped struggling and turned their heads backwards; there, standing proudly, was the responsible of their fight.

“Why fighting when all the fun is down here?” he asked them with a smirk and then jumped to an underground section of the sewers.

“Oh no, you’re not getting away!” stated Klonoa, still angry, as he escaped from Crash’s grip in order to follow the aviator.

“Klo-Klonoa, wait!” stuttered Crash as he followed his friend. At first, he hesitated to jump below, but then closed his eyes and let himself fall.

After the snowstorm subsided, the two youths decided to resume the search for the crystal in the mountainside. This time, however, they added a new member for his team; the now non mysterious boy, whose name was Rex.

Based on his story, he was just another traveler like them-and not just any-but one that came from Gex’s world, which, according to what the boy said, literally looked in danger.

“That sounds awful RX” stated Parappa sad, feeling sympathy for the boy since his world was conquered, coincidentally, by that huge mechanic monster.

“I need to find Gex quickly. He’s the only one that can stop him” he replied anxiously.

“I still find hard to believe that a guy like him has a chance to defeat someone that size” pointed Spyro teasingly a bit, clearly referring to Gex and Rez. But still, even if it was a light joke, it was enough to make the boy angry.

“Hey! Don’t make fun of Gex!” he retorted. Clearly, Rex respected the green haired man in all senses; minus his womanizer factor.

“Jeez, sorry…” answered Spyro a little taken aback. Was everyone in Gex’s world so emotive?

At that moment, Sparx quickly flew forward; leaving the others behind. The reason was pretty obvious. As the one with the abilities to feel crystallized objects that emitted large amounts of magic energy, it was the duty of the dragonfly to lead everyone to where the source was.

“There it is” stated Spyro smugly once the group saw the power crystal and Sparx perched on top.

“Great! Now we can return with the others!” exclaimed Parappa happy. Finally he was going to be in a warmer place.

“Wait, what?! The others? But what about Gex?!” questioned them Rex hastily.

“You said that after you find that thing you were going to take me to him!” he added while looking at Parappa’s guilty expression and Spyro’s serious one.

“A-and we’re going to do it RX, but we need to find…how many crystals were, S?” asked him the young rapper sweatdropping, once he noticed that he didn’t recall the exact number and just managed to count five with his hand.

“2-25…” stuttered the young dragon, embarrassed of Parappa’s lack of attention.

“25! I can’t wait that long! I have to find Gex now!” exclaimed Rex nervously and decided to run away from them.

“R-RX, wait!” cried Parappa worried as he tried to stop him.

In his rush, Rex misstepped in the cold floor and fell down the mountain’s ravine before the male dog could grab him.

“RX!!!” cried Parappa scared as he saw the poor boy spinning out of control towards his death.

Then, out of nowhere, a shadow quickly jumped towards the ravine and with elegance extended its pair of bat-like wings in the air. Once deployed, it quickly descended as fast as it could in order to outspeed the boy; which it did at the end.

The identity of that mysterious shadow belonged to no other than Spyro, who prepared to catch Rex in his arms once he collided with him.

As the red haired boy and a pile of snow were coming towards him, the young dragon closed his eyes and focused. His plan was simple, grab Rex and then pass through the avalanche with his heated body.

After he successfully managed to secure the boy in his arms, he extended his wings again and flew towards the avalanche, melting the snow in his path and then ascending like a rocket to where Parappa and Sparx were.

“S…that was…SO COOL DUDE!” exclaimed Parappa happily as a smiling Spyro slowly descended next to him.

“Heh, I would like to see Gex doing it” stated the young dragon proudly after dismissing his wings.

“And look what I found inside that avalanche” he added as he searched for something that was in his clothes.

“Woah! Is that?” asked Parappa perplexed as he saw a shining big red gem in Spyro’s possession.

“Yes, my friend, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for since I got here” he stated happy while watching the gem in his hands, but then looked at the unconscious Rex in his other arm.

“I guess I’ll thank you when you wake up” he thought as he smiled at him.

With the power crystals in our heroes' hands, only two areas are left for them to search. What dangers will await them? Will they cross paths with more friends? And what about N. Tropy and the Conspirators schemes??? Find it out in the next episode ;)

This was meant to be publish yesterday, but due to other things it kinda got delayed ^^; (to be honest, I thought I was going to publish it tomorrow, lucky you :D) Anyhow, what can I say about this chapter...some things got explained and we met new familiar faces :) Now, continuing with Jersey's conversation from last chapter, I finally decided what kind of personality I would like to give to him in comparison with the other heroes...

The same incorrigible, obnoxious and sometimes funny personality that Deadpool has :XD: So you may see him as the censored version for children ;) XDDD For those that want to know who Deadpool is, here's the linK:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=0e1nAb…

(Do you think he and Gex will get along? xD Just asking :))

Without anything else to say, I'll see you next time when Abe meets a certain lady from Rayman's world! :D (spoiler! XD) bye!
